FERGUSSON SIGNS ANNE FRANK DECLARATION
Galloway and Upper Nithsdale MSP Alex Fergusson was one of 70 MSPs who signed up to the Anne Frank Declaration to challenge prejudice and hatred. Speaking from Holyrood Mr Fergusson said:-
“I applaud the Anne Frank Trust for mounting a very provocative exhibition in the Scottish Parliament last week during which the 27th January marked Holocaust Memorial Day. Anne Frank’s extraordinary story is still incredibly motivational and it is entirely appropriate for the Trust to use the lessons that can be learned from that tragic story to mount this challenge against the prejudice and hatred that still pervades our society today.”
