FERGUSSON ‘DOES HIS BIT’ FOR RECYCLING

Galloway and Upper Nithsdale MSP Alex Fergusson took advantage of the Scottish Woodland Trust’s recycling scheme to recycle his Christmas cards, and those of many constituents, at WH Smith in Stranraer. Speaking after handing in the cards Mr Fergusson said:-

“While this may be a small gesture, it does help to highlight the ever increasing ability for us all to recycle our goods, and it also serves to promote the excellent work carried out by the Woodland Trust who get together with a number of partnership organisations for this annual recycling scheme. Judging by the number of constituents who hand their cards in at my office, awareness of both this scheme and recycling in general is very much on the increase and that is to be greatly welcomed. I am more than happy to help to publicise this scheme in WH Smiths today.”
