FERGUSSON WELCOMES ARRIVAL OF SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT EXHIBITION IN STRANRAER

Galloway and Upper Nithsdale MSP Alex Fergusson has welcomed the arrival of a high quality Scottish Parliament exhibition to Stranraer library. Mr Fergusson said:-

“This exhibition, entitled, ‘Moving Stories’ is a major part of the Scottish Parliament’s 10th anniversary programme and is aimed at making people more aware of how to engage with and use their Parliament in Edinburgh. It combines photography and audio visual material to tell the stories of 10 men and women who have successfully interacted with the Scottish Parliament since 1999. Having met the individuals involved I cannot fail but be enormously impressed at their single-minded commitment and motivation to use their experiences to the ultimate benefit of others. The exhibition, which has been travelling around Scotland since last April, will be in Stranraer until Saturday 16th January, and I would encourage anyone with a little time to spare to call in at the library and share these 10 experiences. I would defy anyone not to be affected by at least one of the featured stories.”
